NEEDS-Nalanda Educational & Entrepreneurship Development School formed on 07th April 2004 as a unit of a registered society registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 bearing Registration No 1091/2001-02, Govt. of Bihar, has been established in February 2002 having its divisions and chapters at various locations to cater the growing need of capacity building of individuals in the areas of Computer Application, Management, Information Technology, Literature, Commerce, Entrepreneurship & Skill Development and other job oriented courses.

We are authorised by reputed Govt. Universities of India to conduct their courses in Regular as well as Distance Mode.

At present :
We are Special Study Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi to conduct their courses in Distance Mode.
We are Knowledge Resourse Centre of Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University (MMHAPU), Patna to conduct their courses in Regular Mode.

Our educational movement is rapidly establishing a distinctive place among the educational institutions in region. The institute has committed for delivery of high quality courses.

The campus

NEEDS is situated at a very prime location at Vandana Cinema Road, Qummruddin Ganj near to Biharsharif Head Post Office and Gulmarg Hotel, which is the heart of the district headquarter of Nalanda. Which is surrounded by various prominent educational institutions and colleges like Nalanda Mahilia Mahavidyala, Girls Middle School, Model Academy, etc. The Campus is spread in a two storied building. It has got ample parking space. the campuses provide excellent environment to study. It is very well connected to the railway station, bus & auto stand.
Education for us in this college is not a mere pursuit of information: what we strive for is a holistic development of character with a commitment to building a strong knowledge base. For this, our Faculties, Students and Employees work together in close association. Not only does the college uphold traditional values of courtesy and regard for the older and the weak, there is also a sensitive concern for justice and a sense of fairness. The alertness to gender, religion and caste & creed equality too is demonstrated amply through a number of awareness programmes organized in the college. As a result there is an atmosphere of good cheer rather than stress on the campus. In deed and spirit we “live by love”.
We have a firm belief that a healthy physique is essential for a healthy mind. We feel that our students should take a healthy and balanced diet and avoid junk food. We have declared our campus “PAAN MASALA, GUTKA and TOBACCO FREE”. Remember, NO STUDENT would be allowed to use these banned items within our premises. In case of violation, necessary action would be taken which includes EXPULSION FROM THE COLLEGE.
